The previous 5034 numbers based on a 56 ton sample came in at about $90/ton - and this was with NO stone as large as 2 carats, let alone 3. Now we have two 5s and a 10, plus four more over 3 and a dozen more over 2 --- AND diamond prices have gone up about 30% in the interim!
A lot will hang on the valuations, of course, but I think they'll beat your $90-$105/tonne rather handsomely.
The 5034 is 15M+ tonnes, and they are now up to an additional 5 kimberlite bodies on the property. Two of these were considerably richer than the 5034 when sampled.
There will be about 12 more press releases over the next 2-3 months before we have a reasonable picture of what was accomplished this season.
