Geez, I am impressed with your interest in what is currently driving interest with STK i.e. SANs. Keep in mind that STK has 99% of the large enterprise tape storage and 88% of the mid tier library. The JNI is a small part of what SUNWs interest would be in a company like STK. The ATL Odetics relationship with Sun clearly did not work, the contract will probably not be renewed. This, is one of the large reasons these folks are hanging out in Lousiville. Get it? FC/SAN attached disk is not the only piece of this relationship in fact it is rather small. . .For now. Sun(Scott Mcneeley) is notoriously cheap in its' aquisitions. LSC basically told Sun to go piss up a rope. But STK is cheap for now.
