Yes, China has tremendous potential. But it remains to be seen if the #17 portal operator can fill the needs in China and convert their limited eyeballs into profits. CHINA's revenues are still 90% derived from "web consulting business", i.e. standard web design. Banner revs are marginal and are not anticipated to increase in the near term. Would you value any web design house, with a half OK portal, at S 1.4bn??
