Wow--no denying the bandwidth there (and response time was right snappy too!). O.K. you're off the hook till tomorrow. BTW, the Morse Code 'station' that was mothballed was in Half Moon Bay, CA (about 15 miles south of San Francisco, on the coast). I listened to an interview with the operator while doing the morning commute thing and he was 1/4 nostalgic, and 3/4 enthusiastic about all the new communication options available to ships at sea. I think the MC had wanted him to burst into tears--instead he raved about Global Positioning Satellites. Life do indeed move on. best, mike
