Everything in it's place?

That really sums it up more eloquently than I could've. It's the reason we have threads. A thread for everything and everything in its thread.

My post here was an accident.

It seemed an honest accident to me, which is why the post was deleted, but your account was not suspended.

Do you want them sorting through the posts on a lemon--yellow thread like this?

The thing is that an orange just doesn't look right in this lemon-yellow thread.

This thread is for new people to learn a bit about Silicon Investor (the link is included in the "Welcome" message everyone gets) and for old-timers to discuss issues specific to SI.

The people who want to read about stocks that can go up 37% in two trading sessions (many of whom are also interested in this thread) will read one of the many threads about such stocks. Those who like IPO's read the IPO threads.

I mean, they caused you to miss one of the best investment opportunities you might have had all year.

Had it been posted in an appropriate thread, those who are interested in such things would've seen it.

With many, many thousands of threads on the site, it really benefits everyone to stick to the topics of the threads. Otherwise, we have completely unusable chaos.

Regards,

SI Admin (Bob)
