Please direct me to the company that has broken PacBell's monopoly on DSL wiring in Palo Alto. I also live 17,000 feet from the nearest substation. The technician who installed my line said they will not install DSL at all to people over 17,500 feet away. He was genuinely surprised to see the CRC test pass at all, when he hooked up the line.
