PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 8, 1999--Teknema, Inc. of Palo Alto, a leading supplier of technology and solutions for Internet appliances, announced today that Formenti-Seleco of Italy has licensed its Internet software suite and appliance hardware reference design.
Formenti-Seleco will use Teknema's technology to bring to market the Home CTV, an Internet-enabled television set, an innovative consumer oriented product for web surfing, e-mail, and watching television, with an easy to use remote control and wireless keyboard.

The Teknema Internet appliance technology used in the Home CTV includes an ARM 32-bit RISC multimedia processor designed by ARM Ltd. (Nasdaq:ARMHY) and manufactured by Cirrus Logic (Nasdaq:CRUS), a built-in modem network interface, a printer port, and a smartcard reader.
