hey hp,

are you still getting the norton systemworks email tips?

the one that came today looks pretty cool:

"FIND AN APPLICATION'S FOOTPRINT IN MEMORY

Ever wonder just how much of your precious physical memory (RAM) an
application is using? Norton System Information can tell you.

>From the System Information main screen, click the Memory tab. Select
one or more items in the list box to see how much memory they occupy.
You can use the list box's column headings to control the ordering of
the items. They normally appear in ascending alphabetical order by
item. But to see them listed by 32-bit applications first, click the
Type column heading; to see them listed from largest to smallest,
click the Size column.

To see technical detail on any item, highlight its name, right-click,
and select Details. To see technical information on the entire list,
click the Details button below it. The pie chart at the left tells you
how much physical memory (RAM) you have and how much of your disk
Windows is using for its virtual memory swap file.

This information could be of use when you're calling technical
support."

i checked it out. man, this utility suite continues to impress. don't you agree?

:)
