You make some excellent points. One might add PBGH Growth to the may-have-flamed-out list; I was quite surprised to see the other day that this fund and VWEGX are nearly neck and neck in the race for the worst record since tech stocks swooned. It would be hard to argue with PBHG Growth's 10-year record, but the way the firm is adding funds to its offerings reminds me of Van Wagoner's over-reaching.
