mp3.com IPO will probably rocket on hype and download numbers; it still hasn't figured out a business model in my opinion, and musicians who use it (as well as audiophiles) tell me that the mp3 format cuts off the high-end of the sound spectrum (read: no clear treble)

liquid audio is in bed with the record companies so we'll see if that bears any offspring

i expect a middle ground model, free and pay to use that still hasn't emerged fully
