As I recall, Y2K issues weren't discussed as being factors for consideration in CQ3 and CQ4. My notes show that there were no comments made by Seagate regarding Y2K issues nor did any analyst ask Seagate for their opinion about any Y2K impacts.

To date, it appears that most "knowledgable" HDD analysts are still saying that it is a "non-issue" for the HDD industry, or if they feel it is they aren't stating it publicly.
