Boston, July 13 (Bloomberg) -- Hasbro Inc. Chief Executive Alan Hassenfeld told financial news network CNBC that the toy company has sold ''at retail through to the consumer'' more than $165 million of ''Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace'' merchandise. Hassenfeld said this merchandise has sold more than any movie merchandise that the company shipped worldwide during a 12-month period. Hassenfeld described his company's agreement with filmmaker George Lucas as a 10-year marriage, and told CNBC ''in the first year, it's the best marriage that I've ever been in, other than the one with my wife.''

''The Phantom Menace'' took in $371.6 million in its first seven weeks of release in the U.S. and Canada and is expected to become this year's highest-grossing movie.

I LOVE THIS NEWS GUYS... Good luck!
