I went through the "flow of funds" document from the Federal reserve and it didnt seem as alarming as has been presented. Perhaps you could explain a few things.
1.It would seem that the "decline in savings rates" excludes savings in securities and only includes time deposits and money funds.
2.Total debt (including government) is less than 1/2 of "net worth"
