Agreed. If you already have a core position in SMTL, then you probably should wait to see if you can "steal" a few more shares really cheaply.... Also SMTL must have good securities law attorneys, as they rarely make statements about business conditions between earnings releases, and just let their earnings do "the talking" for the company. Exception: the upcoming Hambrecht & Quist Tech Conference. Otherwise the only "between earnings statements " action in SMTL seems to be analysts comments....

As to Novell, they had no CEO and no corporate strategy, but still a big (but dwindling) user base. See note #160 under Novell for a nice analysis of where Novell is now.... They had to act as Microsoft's NT System was picking off their customers... Let's see what happens. I think that there are better stocks in the networkers to buy....
