Crusader:

I respect your opinions, but at these prices, I'm gone for now because of valuation, which I think is the reason the analysts weren't more aggressive on their initial opinions.

The comparison to Rambus is telling. The company has been a big success and today has about $40 million in sales and a market cap of $2.1 billion. And Rambus is profitable.

Backweb has a market cap of almost $1.3 billion already (the overallotment was certainly exercised). It's Q1 sales were $4.1 million, and it is going to be losing money for awhile.

Although revs are obviously growing faster at BWEB, they would need to be $25 million this year just to be at "fair value" with Rambus today--which again is an extraordinarily generously priced stock, but at least profitable).

Judging by the tiny average trade size, you've got a ton of CNBC-related money in this. IMO the short-term trading opportunity is on the downside after any final spasm up this a.m.
