IC Television Obtains Patent for Remote Smart Battery Allowing for Cellular Telephone Function as Universal Remote Control

MIAMI, July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Management of Modern Computer Systems Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiary IC Television, is pleased to announce that it has been issued a patent for the invention of its remote smart battery for supplying the cellular telephone with a host of additional functions.

One of the remote smart battery's unique features is its magnetic stripe reading device. The initial function authorized for this technology is a universal remote control. The universal remote control device can be connected to the microcontroller to enable the use of the keyboard of the cellular telephone to control operation of the remote control unit, similar to a regular household remote control.
