Jason, I can't comment on the potential sales, but here is another application for the i960RP. Startup RedCreek Communications is introducing a data-encryption device that uses the i960RP to speed up the internal data flow to allow time for the data encryption. The article does not mention I2O, but it seems to be implied.

The above development makes me suspect we could see a whole round of unanticipated creative innovations stemming from I2O that could have a significant impact on the communications/networking industry. Could there be an I2O role in data compression, for instance? (I'm out of my field here, so I'm just speculating.)
