INTQ - ALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 14, 1999--Intelliquis
International Inc. (OTC BB: INTQ), a premier provider of personal
computer and Internet software, today announced it has signed
distribution agreements with California Tecnologia and Casa Herlo, two
leading Mexican computer products distributors.
The agreements allow California Tecnologia and Casa Herlo to
market, sell and distribute Intelliquis International's software
products -- IntelliFIX 2000, Web Site Traffic Builder, TotalFax and PC
Speed 98-- to the Mexican technology marketplace. California
Tecnologia and Casa Herlo will also sell and distribute Intelliquis
International's M3 ISA card -- a hardware-based year 2000 solution --
in Mexico and Central America.
According to Bernard Yaw, Intelliquis' president and CEO, the
agreements give the company its first forays into the Mexican
technology marketplace.
"Intelliquis International is constantly looking for partners and
distributors that will allow the company to enter new markets," Yaw
said. "These new distribution agreements help Intelliquis bring its
software products to new customers, while giving the company a
presence in Mexico and Central America."
Arturo Diaz Molina, director general of California Tecnologia,
said, "The Mexican computer market has approximately 10-12 million
computers, so this distribution agreement represents a sizable
opportunity for both California Tecnologia and Intelliquis."
Heinrich Loose, president of Casa Herlo, said, "Working with
Intelliquis allows Casa Herlo to offer a strong line-up of
productivity and utility software products to its customers, which in
turn, will allow our customers to improve their business functions and
meet other computer needs."
Intelliquis' products can be found in a variety of retail
outlets, including CompUSA (NYSE: CPU), Egghead.com (Nasdaq: EGGS),
OfficeMax (NYSE: OMX) and Staples (Nasdaq: SPLS). Intelliquis'
products are also distributed to resellers through Ingram Micro
(NYSE: IM).
