The icon that appears in my system tray, without me wanting it there, is icq. You're correct in that you can delete many by right clicking on them. In this instance, I can't delete; I can only disable.

But want I really want to do is not have it appear there at all...hence my question about how to "manage" the system area.

On the flip side, I want "timeset" to activate automatically in the system tray when I boot up. No, I haven't looked at the Registry Management program that's been talked about here. I'll admit that fiddling with the registry scares the hell out of me.

I swear, I feel like I'm getting dumber as times flies by...hahaha!

PS. I saw a post about Norton systemWorks tips...Do they come from the same place as WIN95 and Netscape Communicator tips?
