Media Forum International Name Change to Advanced Communications Technologies, Inc. - New Funding - Acquisitions
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 14, 1999-- The Board of Directors of Media Forum International, Inc., (OTC BB -''MFMI'') announced today that following its merger with Advanced Communications Technologies, Inc., the surviving company, Media Forum International, Inc. has officially changed the name of the corporation to Advanced Communications Technologies, Inc.

The name change was filed and recorded with the Florida Corporations Office on June 29th, 1999. The ticker symbol will remain ''MFMI'' for the present. The name change is consistent with the redirection of the company's main business enterprise that is now focused on the communications industry.

The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr. Roger May, also confirmed that agreements had been completed recently for a new funding commitment in the amount of five million dollars (US$5,000,000). Full details will be announced in the near future.

May also said that the acquisition of an Australian based Technology Company with proprietary RF Wireless applications had been completed. Two other acquisitions, one in the USA, and the other in Australia are also in process. May stated, ''Both of the Australian acquisitions are very complementary to the further development of the SpectruCell wireless network project''. Full details will be announced in the near future.

SpectruCell is a new software defined wireless network device designed to support universal wide spectrum wireless networks. It will be capable of supporting all existing wireless telephony protocols (AMPS, CDMA, TDMA, GSM) as well as future or evolving protocols (3G, IMT-2000, IMTS). SpectruCell is ideally suited to the wireless transmission of voice, data, video and Internet traffic on one network backbone. SpectruCell will provide for the rapid deployment of both much-needed new networks, and existing network expansion
