Damn, I sold at 26.90 first thing this morning. I thought I had to get out before it went down, but now it's up! The market seems to be taking an optimistic long-term view, which I think is sensible, but surprising. Normally companies get slammed for this kind of thing.

This may sound like sour grapes now that I've sold, but I don't think it's quite fair to say that without these one-time charges they beat the earnings estimates. There are usually some kind of one-time costs for any company in any given year, so I think that part of this writedown has to be counted as a normal cost of doing business.

Good luck to everybody still holding.
