<<Rock financial to get into the web loan biz, as per the article it has done more transactions in the first quarter than eeln yet its market cap is only at around 250 mil compared to eeln's 2 billion. is eeln over valued?>>

I recently read a Bear Stearns report on Rock Financial.....IMO, they are a bit over-rated. Tell me, is Rock a great brand as an online portal for loans and mortgages? I don't think so. The name doesn't mean anything to the average consumer. Rock is really a small offline mortgage company trying to be viewed differently. They are late to the internet party and I am not too impressed with them. Rock Financial DOES NOT have substantial online experience, partnerships with the Yahoos, E-Trades, and the Softbanks, management that has developed worldclass brands like Saturn, etc...I feel Rock is in a totally different league than E-Loan and deserves a much different valuation. I would not ignore Rock BUT the mortgage marketplace is BIG and I expect E-Loan will be a DOMINANT player in the online space. Just my views.

Best Regards,

Scott
