Actually, I was mysteriously removed from the BANY/ANYI e-mail distribution awhile back, so I don't read those e-mails until someone here posts them. Still, Sitra really should stop making statements about when ANYI will trade, he doesn't know and he should leave it at that. I just spoke with CBay again, and they said they never told him or anyone else that they could definitely say when it would trade. Typically they just hang out until the word comes from NASD, then they begin making a market. They don't sound too thrilled about all the calls they're getting - and IMO their excitement about ANYI is primarily because the spread is so wide, which favors the MMs - not investors. They have no stake in whether ANYI does "well", only if folks are putting in orders to sell low and buy high. Anyone tried to call the NASD yet?
