Didn't really mean to say that its not in its infancy, at least in terms of how the recording industry is dealing with the issue. However, it is a method that is in wide spread use. 20 years ago a killer stereo was the thing that a college kid wanted most. Now its a killer computer. Many kids use the computer as their means to play music either in CD or mp3 form.
