Hi Jim re no inflation.. the only non inflation I can find is in the wages of the American worker..otherwise all my expenses have been going up ..CNN had a report that a lot of American families with income of 45,000 are in financial trouble.. over 42,000,000 americans are without health insurance the stock market is where most of the money is flowing..but I guess you don't like calling financial assets inflation..just smart investing.. the real estate market at least in my neck of the woods might be a worse bubble than back in the 80's I also have never seen so many hidden costs in so very many services.. glad you don't experience any inflation..(except hopefully in your wages..) if dinosaurs still use gold as a leading indicator for inflation..you can bet your whatever that the government has concern that it stays low or a lot of people's retirement funds might suffer hugely and the wealth effect generated by the market rather than incomes(at least for majority of non high tech or financial types) will go puff
