<<alert>> Stock #3 WL moving nicely triggers>>> There are going to be changes initiated to help you beside the intraday updates (although I try to do them as best as I can, the last two days were a little hectic).. Today was an inundation with the new Watley people but I've already worked out with Watley staff to handle their queries and their sign up through them so I don't foresee any additional problems.

Intraday updates would have been fine to get you into BA, (I didn't make it myself but I saw the move), and same with stock #7..

There are things that are changing constantly, moving ahead quite tremendously in fact. We never were able to even track as many earnngs plays in the first 2 1/2 years that we have been doing this quarter, but now we have the calendar so far in advance its possible to track the plays over and over again.

Then because of the proliferation of the earnings plays (about 500 stocks reporting every day) it seems like almost every watch list stock ironically can turn out to be an earnings play as well.. just through the sheer preponderance of the amont of stocks reporting. I am trying to work out an additional Prosearch criteria with Telescan whereby I can 'call up' the stocks each week that answer my criteria without having to first scan the stocks than cross and double check through the investor relations department and/or First Call Radar Report and/or VCALL.

We will be initiating a sophisticated data base to track everything for you but Rome was not built in a day. Hey, even the VCALL website still has its own calendar in beta format, because all this cold fusion data basing is fairly new (only 3 years Cold Fusion is out in the first place).. By October we should have a very sophisticated watch list/earnings play calendar/ newsletter in place...with cross referencing and alerts that automatically go off according to pre-set mechanical triggers.

Meanwhile, today is Wednesday, and ask Long John, we will be getting no less than 25 full pages of companies reporting earnings next week that we have to sift through. A job that takes me personally about 6 hours and thats AFTER I already have a nice amount on the calendar for next week. So just try to envision the 'living and breathing' entity that is the electronic stock picking and research and how quickly we are metamorphosizing, but we don't want bugs so we don't want to rush into anything until all the problems are ironed out.

Lastly, we will be adding the buy/sell calls and real time service service of another company at a nominal fee (they will determine what under $25 and I'm hoping closer to $19.95) for 'hand holding' spoon feeding, (compare that with the $200-$700 a month from other real time trading forums or whatever you want to call them ) That will be in place by August 1, 1999. Again this will NOT take the place of the intraday updates which will RESUME AS BEFORE AND I WILL BE ON THE THREAD FOR A GOOD PART OF THE TRADING DAY.

So remember while a lot of people fall asleep reading a good magazine I fell asleep last night with the the 700 page Cold Fusion Manual on my lap.......
