Flop! Falls off Cliff at CNET

The PC Card Iomega Flop! drive fell dramatically today to #442 at www.shopper.com. It seems as though all of the Iomaniacs ran out and bought all at once, but now that is all over.

Castlewood Orb on the other hand has enjoyed a steady sales rise for the past few weeks:

USB Orb continues its rise to #295

SCSI int Orb makes a move up to #467

EIDE Orb moves to #540

and SCSI ext Orb moves up to #611

Now that the supply of Iomaniacs and tech-heads has apparently gone dry for Iomega's Flop!, who is left to buy?

No one.

*USB Orb is a really cool product, as it is both an Ultra-SCSI drive and a USB drive... I will be able to use it on my older Mac AND my iMac! - the perfect portable external drive!
