Christian 1st time in a long while amd is coming out with more than competative product. At this point this are rumors but even some of the strong supporters do not deny that amd possibly faster, substentially cheaper and possibly cheaper to manufacture. The drawback is that amd needs to win some designs from OEMs and supporters of intel do not believe that k6 would be recognised by major OEMs. The news is just about to come out that about OEMs and I am sure you have read all the publicly released rumors of interest from largest OEMs. Now what makes it easier for amd is that intel is commited to high margins and they are pricing themself out of the market. Any attempt on the side of intel to lower the margin would send intel stock into freefall. I am not an expert on TA so could not comment on trends. Regards -Albert
