Howard D. Epstein, M.D.--Have you any idea of the tests and testing system to develop that paper.
The standards of the NEJM are exceedingly high. They are going to want some very stringent science done at all levels on a paper like this. As has been pointed out it is one thing to submit a paper quite another to meet their standards. I realize they are not going to release the results before the paper is accepted but I wonder if any general information is available about it such as sample size, was it a double blind study, any other compounds used for comparison and so forth?
