You beat me to it. I wanted to make the comment that while the TSE Oil and Gas Producers Index is almost 10% below its peak, MXP is within 3% from its all time high. This is a sign of strength. Looking into the trades in the last 2-3 weeks, I also noticed that Gordon is a heavy buyer from 2.20 all the way up to 2.75. This is also a good sign since, If you remember, Gordon is a house that made the recommendation to buy MXP with a target price of 3.5 to 4.0 (I do not know if they still stand by this target price or not, but I do not see any reason why not).

What do you think the reason for this recent rise is? Is it that they have received the ok for their exploration in the US? or is it that more institutional investors are recognizing this undervalued stock?
