Heinz, when are these companies going to learn that it is in shareholders' best interests blow the number, not beat it: biz.yahoo.com Seriously though, this Intel situation has me baffled. They blew the number (already lowered), did not say a word about P-III which looks like a belly flop, and are now slugging it out on the low end. And the mf'er goes up. State Street (and a lot of other companies) come in fine and get pounded. Waste Management comes in low and gets pounded. How can you tell what to go long OR go short in this market, there is just no sense to it.
