"A rabbi told me it would be helpful if Hebrew versions of the
originals could become available."

Why would you seek out an enemy of Christ to help you understand the Bible? How can someone who lacks the Holy Spirit help you
establish sound doctrine?
Jesus created the Church and gave Spirit-filled leaders to lead and edify her. Jesus and the Apostles never said to seek understanding about spiritual matters from those who hate and reject Christ and the Church! They can give no light because they have no light! Why the need to go to anti-Christian sources? Your comments about the original "Hebrew versions" of the New Testament is a sad commentary on the negative influence antichrist rabbis and Zionism are having upon the Christian community.

Idolatry for modern Talmudic Judaism has reached epidemic levels in the Christian community. How can those whose hearts are wrapped in a veil of darkness help you understand things that only the Holy Spirit can reveal? Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed?

The New Testament was written in Greek. The Greek Orthodox Church has never had a need to translate the Greek New Testament. This provides the Christian community with a continuous traditions (with a documented list of every Patriarch and Bishop going back to the Apostles.) The Greek version of the New Testament and the Septuagint (or Greek version of the Old which was an authorized translation made by the Priesthood and the Scribes in the third century.), have been handed down in perfect order. The Scroll of Isaiah (the complete book) found in Qumran, The Dead Sea Scrolls) verified that the Septuagint version is the most accurate version of the Old TEstament that we have today. The fact that these ancient Hebrew translate the Hebrew into Greek some 250 years before the birth of Christ guaranty that the meaning of the Hebrew Scriptures were not influenced by the Christian--Talmudic Jewish controversy of later years.

The Greek version gives us an accurate meaning of the Old TEstaement Scriptures.(Something like a Rosetta Stone between ancient Hebrew and modern Greek). For example, the controversy over the Hebrew word "almah" is illuminated beautifully by this "Hebrew-Greek Rosetta" Stone. The ancient Hebrew Priests and Scribes translated "Almah" as young virgin over 250 years before Jesus came on the scene. Modern Talmudic rabbis try to claim a very phoney literalism when translating the word "almah". The literal meaning of the word is "a young marriageable maiden". Modern antichrist rabbis delight in pointing this out because they think it erases the true meaning of a "young virgin" inherent in the word. The clear proof that the modern rabbinical interpretation is completely wrong and based on an anti-Messiah agenda lies in the fact that ancient Hebrew scholars who were far closer to the true meaning of the Hebrew, and who were also bilingual in Hebrew and Greek(the Jewish community in Alexandria Egypt in the third century BC), knew precisely that the word "almah" in Isaiah 7:14 meant virgin. There are scores of other examples to show that the Christian Septuagint is more accurate than the modern Hebrew version that antichrist rabbinical authorities use today. Talmudic authorities has written the Baylonian Talmud to twist and destroy the true meaning of the Old Testament. The myths and fables of the Talmud have destroyed the true meaning of the Old Testament.

Isaiah 7
"14": Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a'> virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

All this verifies that the most reliable translations and originals of the Old and New Testament are the authorized versions held by the Christian Church. The Holy Spirit established it that way!
