Agreed. I am merely postulating that what was solved for MMDS/LMDS may have been successfully cleared by LU for other areas of spectrum.

A company by the name of Cree Research (CREE) has successfully created a blue laser that can operate for up to two hours with a continuos stream. Apparently, this is not destructive as other laser ‘colors'. I am getting out of my realm of knowledge here . . . do you know anything about blue lasers and their effect (if any) on humans?

By the way, the folks at CREE should make quite a bit of money if the are able to get their laser out into the real world (they have several other profitable products floating their spending for the time being). Folks like us will profit tremendously because blue increases the bandwidth available multi-fold in a fiber strand (GBLX would use the enabled equipment to further drive down costs and increase market share). . . this will also hasten the demise of the RBOCs.

CREE has been backed by the US government as well as venture capital.
