The full text of the Liggett settlement is on the web at

stic.neu.edu.

I tried to read it, well I read it, but not being gifted with a law degree I am not sure how in the world to go about trying to understand what it is exactly trying to state. If any of you understand the full text of the settlement, could you do me a favor and submit a synopsis to the thread, for dummies like me? I think I got the gist of it, by reading it from right to left, but I would like to hear interpretations from people who actually know the laws that are involved here.

thanks in advance,

geoff
