Rod, Intel Merced 600Mhz is projected to be availabel until Q4/1999. The 1000Mhz version is expected during 2001. These are projected schedule. However, you have to delay the actual debut at least for another 3 years from these schedule if the incompetence of Intel design teams factor has been put into reality consideration (even Merced has been developed by HP). Before the arrival of Merced, Cyrix M3 and AMD k7 might already have helped Intel into a minus earring company. Rod, it is the time to dump your Intel stock for good!
