Ron,
Looks like Reuters didn't want to use up too much space by printing the whole thing, doesn't it?
Would be nice if the SEC could just put out a pr with a "warning" to investors, etc about "doing your own research" without halting a stock, and then they could list the reasons for the warning. If Digitcom has had calls, warnings, etc from the SEC in the past, why didn't they let the investors know THAT instead of dropping a bomb, THEN warning? If they are on "MY" side, then they should have "protected" me sooner, and let me make my decisions instead of making them for me.
What prospective new investor WANTS to research a halted stock with the vast array of other stocks available to research?? The longs have suffered thru it, accepted it and were prepared to finally reap some rewards. New investors are most likely "vanished" now. Who exactly are they warning? Is a halt actually a warning? "Cooling off period"??? BS...who's cooling off here? Certainly not me! In fact, I'm getting hotter by the day. They are "you know whatting" with our money and our futures, tossing out a couple of brief, non specific remarks as to the "why" of it.
Ronaldo, as far as "public authority" goes...the SEC, the IRS, heck, even the electric company are all monopoly's and you play by their rules or you don't play. As my daddy used to say "The boss ain't always right, but the boss is still the boss". In this case, the SEC is the "boss". Choices have been removed, and our right to question why those choices were removed, has been removed.
Anyway...end of the day thoughts I suppose.
E'Lane...
P.S. Laz...I have 4 cans sitting on the counter. You know what that means don't you?????
