I am sure that you've started to notice some of the tweaks we are making to the beta sight, based on your feedback, i.e. changing the new messages indicator back to red.

Speaking of color, several of you have commented on the new SI color scheme. Lots of people really like it and some people didn't (to put it mildly). Based on the feedback that we've received, we can confidently make a couple of general comments:

A. Most people (not entirely all, but most) like the blue and gold combo in the header., so we're going to stick with that.

B. However, several folks (even those that liked the blue), had less than pleasant things to say about the brown - with several references to "duty" - as in diapers or the armed services. <g>

Changing the color is not a technically difficult thing to do, but it's a pain in the neck - very tedious work - and our HTML team says mean things about me when I even suggest that we make a universal color change. <g> The point is, we only want to do this once.

Sooooo, we have created five sample pages that replace the "brown" color with different colors. You can view these pages by entering a ticker symbol in the Go box at the top left corner of the screen. It doesn't matter what ticker symbol you use. The 5 sample pages are: Quote, Charts, News, Profile and Historical Prices.

Have a look at these pages and tell us what you think. If you have a preference, please refer to the page. For example, you could say, "I like the color on the News page the best." Feel free to post your preference and/or send me a PM so this thread doesn't get too cluttered up.

Let's see if we can find a consensus, or at least a winning majority. Then, we'll make the change (and I'll run and hide from the HTML folks). <g>

Thanks,

Bryan
