QCOM's technology seems impressive and looks destined to be the world wide standard (for now) ... further discussion of that on this thread is a moot point. :-) But the business >>> Seems that the margins will stay slim because of the decision to liscence the techology to the competition to get the ball rolling? Also, it seems QCOM is sticking its neck out rather far with its "equity positions" in the third world, and some of the financing it will guarantee for US startups Not trying to rile up the loyalists, but whenever I see talk on a thread about "the next Microsoft" it seems some details/caveats are being overlooked. good luck to all jim
