No. 28% is the average compounded growth rate of EPS for the last 6 years, assuming they make 2.25 this year. (Note: I made a mistake earlier and said over the last 5 years).

Intel's biggest problem is that they had an exceptional 1997 <gg>

1994 EPS=0.65
1995 EPS=1.01
1996 EPS=1.45
1997 EPS=1.93
1998 EPS=1.72
1999 EPS=2.25 est

Of course past performance is no guarantee of future returns....at least that is what the anti Intel crowd told me when I bought Intel at 7 <gg>.
