Eco Logic Announces Award Of Contract From An
International Pharmaceutical Company In Support Of
Pollution Prevention Initiatives

ROCKWOOD, ONTARIO--ELI Eco Logic Inc. ("ECO LOGIC" or the
"Company") (TSE-ELI) announced today the award of a contract from
an international pharmaceutical company to conduct a treatability
test on waste created during pharmaceutical manufacturing, using

ECO LOGIC'S Gas-Phase Chemical Reduction (GPCR) Process. A
primary focus of the test will be to evaluate the efficacy of GPCR
as an alternative to incineration for pharmaceutical waste
treatment.

This testing supports the Company's initiatives towards
implementation of the GPCR technology as a Pollution Prevention
solution. Industries today face increasing pressure from the
regulatory community and environmentally conscious consumers to
reduce or prevent the generation of hazardous wastes during plant
operations. Implementation guidelines that encourage pollution
prevention and hazardous waste minimization have recently been
announced in Canada and the US. In particular, the Company notes
USEPA's recent call for voluntary partnerships between the USEPA,
states and industries that will facilitate a reduction or
elimination in the generation of 53 persistent, bioaccumulative
and toxic (PBT) chemicals. These types of chemicals can be
produced during industrial processes. Similar pollution prevention
programs and policies are in place in Canada at the federal,
provincial and regional levels.

The Company can assist industry in meeting pollution prevention
and waste minimization goals through the use of GPCR for in-line
treatment of organic wastes as they are produced, thus eliminating
discharge from their facilities. Industries suitable for this
application include chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturers, and
other industries producing organic waste streams.

Dr. Fred T. Arnold, Chief Executive Officer of ECO LOGIC, stated
that "This contract represents an important first step in the
implementation of GPCR for pollution prevention. Results of the
treatability testing will show efficacy of the GPCR as an
alternative to incineration for the treatment of wastes created
during the pharmaceutical manufacturing process. Recently, the
public, regulatory authorities and industry have focused their
attention on the need for safe, effective remediation of hazardous
materials, and the requirement to reduce the production of these
wastes during industrial processes. ECO LOGIC'S GPCR Process
provides a solution for both. We've demonstrated that our
technology is world-class for the treatment of hazardous waste
stockpiles - clients, regulatory authorities, and the
environmental community worldwide have recognized this; now we are
taking the next step toward assisting our customers with their
environmental stewardship goals. By eliminating the opportunity
for hazardous organic substances to contaminate the waste streams
from manufacturing facilities, we believe GPCR will serve these
goals and reduce life cycle cost."

ECO LOGIC's business is to solve toxic chemical problems in a
safe, permanent, cost effective manner. The Process is an
innovative technology that converts on-site, organic, hazardous
waste into reusable or disposable products. This non-incineration
process has gained high public and regulatory acceptance. ECO
LOGIC's world-wide hazardous waste cleanup market includes PCBs,
hexachlorobenzene (HCB), pesticides, dioxins, contaminated
electrical equipment, contaminated soils, chemical warfare agents,
and certain petrochemical wastes."

Regards.
