Tom: Veeco in quiet period so mum was probably the word today.I did not think Veeco performed well today in light of others in semi and DD land. There were some left over sellers today who were marking the bottom. They just did not get around to catching the DD rally which kicked into gear in early this afternoon as their little sell orders were fed to the market. No matter. As investors begin to discount the good guidance from the PC companies and DD companies, investors will climb over each other to get back to Veeco and I would not be at all surprised to see it begin tomorrow.
