Very wise words. I want to stress that for me the violent fantasy is not a habit, but a sometime crutch for getting through a strong sense of betrayal. And a rule I didn't mention - nobody should sense that I am having that fantasy. I run it in a compartment with a Neuron General's warning label that says "this isn't real, Dude."
Doing this assists me in leaving behind that animal part of myself. Strict compartmentation in place and time.
