If I look at his picture (see the homepage of Vaxgen), I think he makes a sympathic and may be even a serious impression. I did not say that Francis is lying, I said there is not written everything in the
prospectus, who ever wrote it.
But I would not say that he never made $$. In the prospectus you
can read that (at this time) he was the second largest stockholder
of Vaxgen. He bought about 500,000 stocks for 2 cents each, yesterday
they noted at $26. I wish him great success, he deserves it!

This is not my "information", it is my guess!
True, they cannot change the ingredients for a just existing
Phase III trial, but they can make more of these trials.
And they even did it!!! They started a second Phase 3 trial in
Thailand with a different vaccine: It includes rgp120 derived
from a subtype B strain (MN), and also from a subtype E strain (A244).
And my guess is, they will make even more of these trials, made
of different strains and different subtypes, to cover the whole
spectrum in order to get this vaccine work well.
