1st Qtr '96 vs 2nd Qtr '96 Sales Increased 17% (Annualized)

Sales for Novell 1st Qtr = $438 million
less Personal Productivity (42)
Net Novell Sales 1st qtr = $396 million

Novell sales 2nd qtr = $188 million
plus Inventory Hit 225 million
Net Novell Sales 2nd qtr = $413 million

Percent increase 1st vs 2nd = 4.3 %
Annualized = 17.2%

The revenues in the next two quarters should be strong due to Green River and Groupwise XTD. There should also be a significant benefit in these quarters for the inventory write down.

Expect further rumors of a merger to also bouy the stock price in the next 6 months.

The bad news is out, how will the next two quarters compare to this?
