Mr. Big, VPHM will be a wild one today - if we do more gapping up at the outset, I'll short some more. Being a chemist and my wife being in pharmaceutical sales, this was a no brainer for me! Trials show a reduction from 14 days to 11 days for treating the common cold - this folks isn't a significant value when one knows that the common cold has run it's course by 11 days. Being only in phase II trials means this drug has only really started it's true research efforts in humans - YES phase III is where the truth will show this drug to be a complete scam, that's if they make it through the trials in phase III. But I suspect the price of this stock will come down quickly once people really do their own DD and realize that phase II trials are a long way from being marketable. I'm sure the FDA loved the press releases today - a big black bulls eye to VPHM for this - the FDA does not like this type of hype! I don't short a bunch but this was a simple pick for me, longs better put a stop limit on their long position because when the MM's get out of this stock, it will fall quicker than you'll be able to put a limit price on it.
