I've followed the recent exchanges re getting MPPP shares allocated at the IPO from Schwab. Someone in the Customer Service department at a Schwab office in Chicago said that Schwab is not actually underwriting the MPPP IPO themselves, and that they have only been allowed a limited number of shares to offer their customers. The Schwab representative said that as of now only their Signature Services Gold and Platinum clients qualify to purchase this stock. I have a small portfolio with Schwab but do not meet these qualifications. I'd sure like to get in on the IPO. Does the above info seem right based on other people's experience? Thanks in advance for any comments.
