fred, what you say is true, but your apparent bias doesn't seem to let you evaluate all the numbers. imho, it is reasonable to to assume that last year's growth rate was an anomoly. comparing this year to last year and extrapolating forward doesn't seem reasonable just like saying intel's eps growth rate is 8%. intel's growth rate appears to be in the mid teens somewhere once you factor out anomolies.

that seems to be much more reasonable than saying that intel's growth rate is accelerating past 28%.

it just isn't happening. i think the next year will prove out the mid teens vs 30%.
