Savant, as I recall many of the original FlashBack patents issued to EDIG were around June 1994 - before and after GATT - also many of the claims are on technologies Norris/EDIG was using in products they were selling in catalogues at the time- also since the US Patent Dept. treats patents pending as TOP TOP SECRET why would a company reveal publically it's claims etc. on a new patent filing(patent pending) - it must be remembered that the FlashBack is the genesis for all current and future EDIG players - Lanier included IMO
