One of the things I have always thought about is the possibility of BBT being scooped up by Lucent. Is this just a pipe-dream or a real possibility ? When I read news like this, it just makes me think more and more that eventually BBTK will get bought out by a big dog. Lucent to buy SpecTran for $64 mln biz.yahoo.com Cates.......Since you are very familiar with BBT, are they still working on fiber-to-the-curb or last-mile solutions ? Excuse my terminology if it is incorrect. It seems to me that despite the lack of PR's and info relating to BBT developments, since BBT is working on addressing relevant issues in the broadband arena, eventually this will affect share price in a positive way. In addition, if they are working on a new 'cutting-edge' technology to address broadband communication, it may be in everyone's best interest that BBT remains hush hush since the field is so competitive. JMHO of course.
