U.S. Workers Real Average Weekly Earnings Rose 0.7% in June

Washington, July 15 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. workers' average
weekly earnings in June registered the largest gain in 17 months,
the Labor Department said.

Real earnings rose a seasonally adjusted 0.7 percent last
month after rising 0.3 percent in May, initially reported as a
0.7 percent increase. June's rise in real earnings was the
largest since a 0.8 percent gain in January 1998, according to
the Labor Department.
